SIGGRAPH 2009: Temerity Pipeline Users Group
This year in New Orleans at our annual Birds of a Feather meeting we featured presentations from three of the the most innovative studios using Temerity Pipeline in production. Each studio has unique requirements and have used the framework provided by Pipeline to create tools and techniques particular to the types of projects they work on and their own vision on how to structure production workflows.

Mark Visser - Software Director
Lumière VFX
Mark's presentation focuses on the use of Template Node Builders to bootstrap a new studio where there are open ended project requirements which need to be satisfied with a minimal technical staff and project ramp-up time.  Lumière VFX produces visual effects for film.     watch video    slides

Visual Arts Services Group - SCEA
Wen explains the workflows and technical innovations used to produce the in-game cinematics for the Uncharted 2 game as well as other studio created tools build using Pipeline.    VASG performs a wide variety of services for game develpers for the Playstation platform.    watch video    slides
Anthony Carysforth - CG Supervisor
Red Vision
Ant dicusses their use of traditional Node Builders coordinate the activities of two geographically seperated locations and manage on-demand access contruction of node to represent both artist driven and fully automated tasks.  Red Vision produces both visual effects and animated series for television.     watch video
Questions & Answers
